Owner & Artist

Growing up in the Midwest, I have always been interested in different forms of arts and crafts. A lot of influence came from my family in many different angles.

Shortly after moving to New York in 1996 I began exploring another passion of mine - landscape design. Within a few years I earned a certificate in landscape design, and have gone on to pursue horticulture as a career.

My niche for greeting cards sparked shortly after the birth of my son. I began creating and selling them in retail outlets.

And then came Bliss . . . an opportunity to showcase my items in addition to showcasing items of other women artists and giving them the support and opportunity that I've always had. Ultimately, I wanted to be able to offer items that you won't find elsewhere in Sugar Loaf while at the same time supporting local artists and I think we have accomplished that with Bliss.

We welcome you to join us at Bliss as either as a guest, an artist, or both. Come find your bliss in a handcrafted item from one of our many local, women artists . . . a necklace, piece of pottery, scarf, photograph or piece of art. It just feels good.
